Bacon and Monterrey Jack Pizza

 

 

Ready-made pizza baked briefly to firm. Partially baked crust is topped with mixture prepared from sautéed garlic, onion, butter, flour, chicken bouillon, milk, and Parmesan cheese. Cheese mixture topped with crisp and crumbled bacon pieces, shredded Monterrey Jack Cheese, and thinly sliced green onion. Pizza is finished baking, sliced while hot and served.

Ingredients -

1 Refrigerated Pizza Crust
1/3 cup Chopped White Onion
1/4 teaspoon Minced Fresh Garlic
1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Whole Milk
1/4 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon Granules
1/4 cup Grated Fresh Parmesan Cheese
1/2 pound Bacon Slices, cooked crisp and crumbled
1-1/2 cups Shredded Monterrey Jack Cheese
3 Green Onions, sliced thin

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 425 degrees and preheat.

2. Press out the pizza dough to fit the pizza pan.

3. Bake the crust for 7 to 10 minutes.

4. Add the garlic, onions and butter to a sauté pan and sauté until tender.

5. Add the flour and blend well.

6. Slowly add the chicken bouillon and milk and bring the mixture to a boil.

7. Cook and stir until the mixture begins to thicken.

8. Lower the heat and add the parmesan cheese.

9. Spread the mixture over the pizza crust.

10. Sprinkle the top with bacon, green onions and Monterey Jack cheese.

11. Bake for 10 more minutes.

12. Slice and serve.
