Biscuit Breakfast Pizza with Egg and Sausage

 

 

Biscuit dough pressed into pizza pan and topped with cooked breakfast sausage, hash brown potatoes, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheddar cheese. Dish is seasoned with coarse grained salt and fresh ground black pepper. Pizza is baked in hot oven until cheese melts, around 20 minutes time.

Ingredients -

1 (8 ounces) package Crescent Roll Dough
6 ounces Breakfast Sausage Patties
1 cup Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes
3 tablespoons Butter
3 Large Eggs, beaten
1/8 teaspoon Coarse-Grained Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 350 degrees and preheat.

2. Spray a pizza pan with butter flavored cooking spray.

3. Spread the dough out to fit the pizza pan.

4. Chop the sausage patties into small pieces and add to a large skillet to brown.

5. Drain the excess liquid and transfer the sausage to a plate.

6. Add the hash browns to the same skillet with 2 tablespoons of butter and cook until crisp.

7. Transfer the hash browns to another plate.

8. Add another 1 tablespoon of butter to the same skillet with the eggs and scramble until done.

9. Arrange sausage, hash brown potatoes, and scrambled eggs onto the dough and season with salt and pepper.

10. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and bake until the cheese melts, which takes about 20 minutes.

11. Cut into wedges and serve and enjoy.
