Biscuit Pizza with Pepperoni and Mushrooms

 

 

Biscuit dough pressed into pizza pan and topped with browned ground beef, pepperoni, pizza sauce, sliced black olives, sliced onion, sliced mushrooms, shredded mozzarella cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Pizza baked in preheated oven until crust is firm and cheese has melted.

Ingredients -

1 pound Ground Beef
1/4 pound Sliced Pepperoni Sausage
1 (14 ounces) can Pizza Sauce
2 (12 ounces) packages Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuit Dough
1/2 White or Yellow Onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 (10 ounces) can Sliced Black Olives
1 (4.5 ounces) can Sliced Mushrooms
1-1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 400 degrees and preheat.

2. Spray a 13 x 9 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium high heat until done.

4. Add the pepperoni and brown.

5. Drain the excess liquid and stir in the pizza sauce.

6. Remove the skillet from the heat and set to the side.

7. Cut the biscuits into quarters and place in the prepared baking dish.

8. Spread the ground beef mixture over the top and sprinkle with olives, onion and mushrooms.

9. Bake for 25 minutes, then top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

10. Bake 10 minutes more or until the cheese melts.

11. Serve and enjoy.
