Breakfast Pizza with Egg, Bacon and Green Onion

 

 

Pizza dough rolled out at pressed into pizza pan. Dough is baked a few minutes for firm up. Crust topped with scrambled eggs, cream cheese, and bacon slices. Pizza is baked in hot oven until heated through. Individual slices garnished with sliced green onion, if desired.

Ingredients -

1 (10 ounces) can Refrigerated Pizza Crust
8 Large Eggs
1/4 cup Half-and-Half OR Milk
1/8 teaspoon Coarse-Grained Salt
1/8 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 tablespoons Butter
1 (3 ounces) package Cream Cheese
8 Bacon Slices,cooked crisp
Green Onions, if desired

 
Preparation:

1. Turn the oven to 425 degrees and preheat.

2. Spray a 12 inch pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray.

3. Unroll the dough onto the prepared pizza pan and press out to the edges.

4. Bake until the crust begins to turn brown, which takes about 7 minutes.

5. Combine the eggs, half and half, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well.

6. Add the butter to a large skillet and heat over medium heat.

7. Cook the eggs until set but still moist.

8. Remove the pan from the heat.

9. Spoon the mixture onto the crust.

10. Drop teaspoonful’s of cream cheese on top and arrange the bacon in a spoke formation.

11. Bake until the pizza is heated through, which takes about 10 more minutes.

12. Serve garnished with green onions.
