Greek-Style Vegetable Pizza with Sweet Peppers, Onion, and Feta Cheese

 

 

Pre-baked crust topped with mixture of bell pepper slices, thinly slices red onion, crushed garlic, extra-virgin olive oil, dried Italian herb blend, sea salt and red pepper flakes. Vegetable mixture is topped with Feta cheese and pizza is baked in hot oven to melt cheese and crisp crust edges.

Ingredients -
1 (12-inch) Homemade or Pre-Baked Thin Pizza Crust
1 cup chopped Red Bell Peppers sliced in thin rounds 
1 cup chopped Green Bell Peppers sliced in thin rounds 
1 cup chopped Yellow Bell Peppers sliced in thin rounds 
1/2 cup thinly sliced Yellow Onion
1/2 cup thinly sliced Red Onion
3 Garlic Cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Dried Italian Herb Blend
1/4 teaspoon Coarse Salt
1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, or to taste
3/4 cup crumbled Feta Cheese
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Place pre-baked crust on baking sheet or pizza pan.

3. Add bell pepper slices, onion, garlic, olive oil, dried Italian herb blend, salt and red pepper flakes to medium bowl and toss to combine.

4. Spoon the vegetable mixture over pizza crust.

5. Sprinkle crumbled Feta cheese over vegetables.

6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and cheese has melted.
