Hickory Smoked Bacon and Swiss Cheese Breakfast Pizza

 

Ready-made pastry dough topped with crisp bacon, shredded cheese, and mixture of eggs, sour cream and chopped fresh parsley. Breakfast pizza baked until pastry dough has risen, lightly browned and egg mixture has cooked through.

Ingredients -
1 (9-inch) Single-Crust Pizza Pastry
1/2 pound Hickory Smoked Bacon Slices, cooked and crumbled
8 ounces Swiss Cheese, shredded
4 Fresh Large Eggs
12 ounces Sour Cream
2 tablespoons chopped Fresh Parsley
 
Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.

2. Roll the pizza pastry out to a round 12 inches.

3. Fit the pastry into a 12-inch pizza pan.

4. Bake the pizza dough for 5 minutes.

5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese evenly over the crust.

6. Whip together the eggs, sour cream and parsley in a medium bowl until smooth.

7. Pour the mixture over the pizza crust.

8. Bake for 25 minutes or until the pizza has puffed up and is lightly browned.
