Teriyaki Chicken Pizza with Pineapple and Sweet Onion

 

 

Ready-made pizza dough topped with teriyaki sauce, thinly sliced sweet onion, shredded cheddar cheese, sautéed chicken pieces, pineapple chunks, minced garlic, and feta cheese. Pizza is baked until crust is golden brown and cheeses have melted.

Ingredients -
1 (15 ounces) can Pineapple Chunks, drained with juice reserved
2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Halves, cut into bite-size pieces
1 Garlic Clove, minced
2 (10 ounces) cans Refrigerated Pizza Crust Dough
1 cup Teriyaki Sauce
1 small Sweet Onions, thinly sliced
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 cup crumbled Feta Cheese
 
Preparation:

1. Add chicken breast pieces, minced garlic and reserved pineapple juice to small bowl.

2. Toss to coat, cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

3. Remove chicken and garlic from pineapple juice and place in large skillet. Heat over medium-high heat.

4. Saute the chicken pieces until golden brown.

5. Roll out and press pizza dough into large pizza pan.

6. Pre-bake the dough in preheated oven for 7 minutes. Remove from oven.

7. Spread teriyaki sauce over crust.

8. Arrange onion slices on pizza crust.

9. Top onion slices with cheddar cheese.

10. Arrange chicken pieces, pineapple chunks and feta cheese over cheddar cheese.

11. Bake 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
